The transposition of the EU RES Directive obliges to look at the wider issue of energy planning in Poland. The Energy Policy of Poland until 2030 of 2009 and the Action Plan 2009-2012 proposed a long-term vision to be realised through a series of measures including support for the development of renewables. How has the implementation of these measures been, and what are the plans of the Government in regard to the upcoming Energy Law and the National Programme for a Low-Emission Economy announced for 2013?
